Brief Introduction of CPE 135A

Chlorinated polyethylene resins and elastomers (CPE) exhibit excellent physical and mechanical properties, including resistance to chemicals, oils, heat, abrasion, and weathering; low-temperature performance; compression-set resistance; flame retardancy; high filler acceptance; and tensile strength. These polymers are used as the major and/or minor component in a wide assortment of applications in industry. The largest application for CPE is as an impact modifier. Other important end-use applications for CPE include wire and cable jacketing, roofing membranes, geomembranes, automotive and industrial hose and tubing, coatings, molded shapes, extruded profiles, and use as a base polymer.

China now accounts for 98% of total world production (in 2008, China accounted for 83% of total world production). Largely as a result of the significant capacity increase in China, there is currently a wide surplus of capacity worldwide, with the global operating rate estimated at 55-60% in 2014. China is also the largest CPE consumer in the world. By far, China continues as the world leader in terms of chlorinated polyethylene nameplate capacity. The last 25 years were clearly marked by a rapid buildup of CPE capacity in China. China is the largest exporter of CPE; most exports are probably to the United States, Europe, and other Asian countries. There are many small-volume CPE producers in China; it is likely that some of these producers will shutter operations as a result of the current overcapacity situation as well as the generally competitive market.
Resin (mainly PVC) impact modification is tied very closely to the general health of the building and construction sector. Another factor that comes into play is competition from other impact modifiers, such as acrylics and MBS. The global market is forecast to grow at an average annual rate of about 4.5%.

Physical Properties of PVC Resin

Mechanical properties
PVC has high hardness and mechanical properties. The mechanical properties enhance with the molecular weight increasing but decrease with the temperature increasing. The mechanical properties of rigid PVC (uPVC) are very good; the elastic modulus can reach 1,500-3,000 MPa. The soft PVC (flexible PVC) elastic is 1.5–15 MPa.

Thermal and fire properties
The heat stability of raw PVC is very poor, so the addition of a heat stabilizer during the process is necessary in order to ensure the product's properties. PVC starts to decompose when the temperature reaches 140 oC, with melting temperature starting around 160 oC. The linear expansion coefficient of rigid PVC is small and has good flame retardancy, the Limiting oxygen index (LOI) being up to 45 or more. The LOI is the minimum concentration of oxygen, expressed as a percentage, that will support combustion of a polymer and noting that air has 20% content of oxygen.

Electrical properties
PVC is a polymer with good insulation properties, because of its higher polar nature the electrical insulating property is inferior to non polar polymers such as polyethylene and polypropylene.
Since the dielectric constant, dielectric loss tangent value, and volume resistivity are high, the corona resistance is not very good, and it is generally suitable for medium or low voltage and low frequency insulation materials.

Chemical properties
PVC is chemical resistant to acids, salts, bases, fats, alcohols therefore it is used in sewerage piping. It is also resistant to some solvents, mainly uPVC, plastified PVC is in some cases less resistant to solvents. For example PVC is resistant to fuel, some paint thinners. Some solvents may only swell it or deform it but not disolve PVC, but some of them may damage it like tetrahydrofuran or acetone.

CPE 135A

Recommended dosage: 3- 8.0kg per 100kg PVC resin.

All Staffs attending Dragon Boat Race

All Staffs of our company attended Dragon Boat Race held in Li Lake, Wuxi City, organized by Wuxi Municipal Government, June 9, 2016.
June 9 to 11 was Chinese traditional Dragon Boat Holidays. Dragon Boat racing is a traditional celebration activity lasting for more than 2000 years. The race was organized by relevant authority subordinated to Wuxi Municipal Government. 30 Dragon Boat teams were invited to attend the race. Our colleague, Tony Ling, was selected to be a player of a Dragon Boat team called Wuxi Cross-border E-commerce Company Team. Our team achieved a good rank among all teams after 3-round competitive races. After the race, all participants took family photos for a souvenir and enjoyed a large meal together to celebrate an unforgettable Dragon Boat Festival.

2016 First Alibaba Cross-Border E-commerce Ecosystem Conference of East China Held in Suzhou

2016 First Alibaba Cross-Border E-commerce Ecosystem Conference of East China Held in Taihu International Exhbition Center, Suzhou City, June 3-4, 2016.
The conference was organized by Alibaba East-China Branch. Hundreds of Cross-border E-commerce companies located at east China were invited to attend this conference. Chief directors of Alibaba East-China Branch delivered a speech regarding the future trend of Cross-Border E-commerce. Professional Alibaba lecturer gave a speech about the changes in some rules of Alibaba E-commerce platform. All attending companies came to a resolution that all cross-border E-commerce companies in east China should work together to adapt to the changes in international trade and come through bad economic situation.

The Dragon Boat Festival

The Dragon Boat Festival is traditionally celebrated on the fifth day of the fifth month on the lunar calendar, and is therefore often called 'Double Fifth Festival'. In Chinese, the holiday is called Duan Wu Jie. The Dragon Boat Festival commemorates the life and death of the famous Chinese scholar-statesman Qu Yuan, who lived some three centuries before the birth of Christ. Qu Yuan was a loyal minister that served the King of Chu during the Warring States Period. Qu Yuan was a highly respected and trusted advisor to the King of Chu. He fought the corruption of other officials of the court. Initially, Qu Yuan was favored by his sovereign, but over time, his wisdom and erudite ways antagonized the other court officials. Eventually, the intrigues of his rivals exerted enough ill influence on the King that Qu Yuan soon found himself in disfavor. The King began to not listen to Qu Yuan's suggestions and advice. Not long after, the King banished Qu Yuan from Chu. While in exile, Qu Yuan composed many poems expressing his sorrows and concerns for his country and people. Amongst his most famous poems is "Encountering Sorrow," a poem describing his search for a good sovereign that would listen to good advice regarding government. In the year 295 B.C., at the age of 37, Qu Yuan drowned himself in the Milo River. He clasped a heavy stone to his chest and leaped into the water. Knowing that Qu Yuan was a righteous man, the people of Chu rushed to the river to try to save him. The people desperately searched the waters in their boats looking for Qu Yuan, but they were unsuccessful in their attempt to rescue him. Every year the Dragon Boat Festival is celebrated to commemorate this attempt at rescuing Qu Yuan. When it was known that Qu Yuan had been lost forever, the local people began the tradition of throwing sacrificial cooked rice into the river for their lost hero. However, a local fisherman had a dream that Qu Yuan did not get any of the cooked rice that was thrown into the river in his honor. Instead, it was the fishes in the river that had eaten the rice. So, the following year, the tradition of wrapping the cooked rice in bamboo leaves was begun. The cooked rice wrapped in bamboo leaves later came to be known as zong zi.

All salesmen attending E-commerce skill training class

All salesmen of our company attend Chengxin Camp Training class held in Changshu Fangzheng Bole E-commerce Traing Center.
About a month ago, we received invitation from tutor working for Fangzheng Bole Business School. The training class began in May 28 and ended in May 30. We met many new friends who are engaged in international trade and exchanged practical business experience with each other. We learned a lot from this training class and it will be unforgettable.
