PVC Materials Delivered and Loaded for Our Sierra Leone Customer

1x40GP FCL and 2x20GP FCL of PVC materials including PVC Resin SG-5PVC StabilizerCPE 135A, PE Wax, Paraffin Wax, ACR processing aid, Stearic Acid, Titanium Dioxide, etc, are delivered and loaded for our Sierra Leone customer, July 25, 2016.

This customer is a Chinese state-owned enterprise. They are specialized in international engineering works. Now they decide to start a PVC zip fastener factory of their own in Sierra Leone. In March 2016, we received an inquiry about our PVC materials. After talking about many key issues like the price, payment term and delivery, etc. They decided to purchase all PVC materials for their PVC zip fastener making. About two weeks ago, they signed a contract of 1x40 GP FCL and 2x20GP FCL of materials used for PVC zip fastener making. Upon receiving their payment, we arranged the preparation and delivery of materials to his nominated shipping forwarder. On 25 July 2016, all materials are delivered to Shanghai port and loaded into containers. 3 containers will be shipped to Sierra Leone on July 30, 2016.

Four Production Methods of Chlorinated Polyethylene CPE

1. Solution Method

Make high density Polyethylene ( HDPE) with some certain properties dissolve in some polar solvents like CCl4and chlorobenzene after being heated, and then chloride reaction between these two materials under the action of radical initiator, temperature of 90-100℃ without oxygen, normal pressure of 0.686MPa. When the chlorine content of product is stable, you may get amorphous elastic product after elutriation recycling and drying. This method is easy to control and producedChlorinated Polyethylene CPE is stable and pure. But solvents used in the reaction is pollutional and hard to recycle. The power consumption is also huge. So this method is rarely used in the industry.

2. Suspension Method

Add high density Polyethylene powder with molecular weight of 100,000~150,000 and particle size of 60 mesh into water medium containing certain amount of emulsifier, dispersent and initiator ( like benzoyl peroxide and azodiisobutyronitrile ) and then heat them to around 80℃. After the emulsification process finished, chlorination reaction shall proceed under the temperature of 115~120℃and normal pressure of 0.98MPa without oxygen. The dosage of chlorine gas and chlorination time shall be controlled and then CPE resin with certain chlorine content will be produced. You may get Chlorinated Polyethylene CPE with certain crystallinity and elasticity after neutralization, washing, filtration, centrifugation and drying.

3.  Suspension Solvent Method

Add certain amount of solvent in suspension medium. And the chlorination process is the same as Suspension Method.

4. Fluid Bed Method

Polyethylene powder with high dispersion will be chlorinated in fluid bed under the exposure to γ-ray or ultraviolet ray, so it is also called gas-phase method. The process of this method is hard to control.

Physical and Chemical Properties of Chlorinated Polyethylene (CPE)

Chlorinated Polyethylene (CPE) is a kind of saturated polymer material. Its appearance is white powder. It’s non-toxic and odourless. It has excellent weatherability, ozone resistance, chemical resistance and ageing resistance. And it also has good oil resistance, flame retardancy and and coloring property. It has good toughness under 30 centigrade below zero. It has excellent compatibility with other polymers and high decomposition temperature.

Chlorinated Polyethylene (CPE) is a kind of polymer chlorinated from High Density Polyethylene (HDPE). As per their structure and different application, Chlorinated Polyethylene (CPE) is divided into two major types: Resin type and Elastomer type. Thermoplastic resin can be used solely and can also be blended with Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC), Polyethylene (PE), Polypropylene (PP), Polystyrene (PS), ABS resins and Polyurethane (PU). Chlorinated Polyethylene (CPE) is used as high-performance and quality specialty rubber. Chlorinated Polyethylene (CPE) can also be blended with EPR, IIR, NBR and CSM rubber.

Properties:
1. Chlorinated Polyethylene (CPE) is a kind of saturated rubber. It has excellent heat resistance, ageing resistance, ozone resistance, corrosion resistance and chemical resistance.

2. Chlorinated Polyethylene (CPE) contains Cl element, thus having excellent flame retardancy. It can be mixed with  Stibium based flame retardant, chlorinated paraffin wax and aluminum hydroxide in approximate proportion to produce a kind of flame retardant with good flame retardancy and low cost.

3. Chlorinated Polyethylene (CPE) is non-toxic and doesn’t contain heavy metal and PAHS. It’s a kind of environmental-friendly material.

4. Chlorinated Polyethylene (CPE) has good filling property, thus being used for manufacturing products with a variety of properties. Chlorinated Polyethylene (CPE) also has good processability.

PVC Materials Delivered and Shipped to Fijian Customer

1x20GP of PVC materials including PVC Resin SG-5, PVC Stabilizer, CPE 135A, ACR processing aid, Stearic Acid, Titanium Dioxide, etc, are delivered and shipped to our Fijian customer, July 17, 2016.

Mr. Jaseveer has a PVC pipe factory of his own in Fiji. In March 2016, we received an inquiry about our PVC materials. After some time talking about many business points like the price, payment term and delivery, etc. He decided to buy all PVC materials for his PVC pipe making. Two weeks ago, he placed an order of 1x20 GP FCL of materials used for pipe making. Upon receiving his payment, we arranged the preparation and delivery of materials to his nominated shipping forwarder. On 17 July 2016, all materials are shipped to Fiji. We believe we will have very good cooperation and become good partners.

Staffs of Our Company Attending First Anniversary of Wuxi Cross-Border E-commerce Associate

First Anniversary of Wuxi Cross-Border E-commerce Associate was held in Meihuada Hotel, Wuxi City, July 8, 2016.

Last July, Wuxi Cross-Border E-commerce Associate was established by a group of energetic guys who are engaged in cross-border E-commerce trade. Our company is one of the founders. Our company was invited to attend the anniversary held in Meihuada Hotel located at Huishan District, Wuxi City. Our colleagues, Tony, Jessica, Grace and Carrie attended the anniversary. Grace and Carrie was invites to work as volunteers to serve the attendants. The ceremony began at 10:00am and ended at 5:00pm. During the ceremony, the chairman of the Associate delivered a speech to conclude the development of the Associate. And several representatives were selected to share their experience in last whole year. Besides, some other celebration activities were also held. We believe that the Associate will have a bright future and we will make it better.

Difference between Chlorinated Polyethylene (CPE) and ACR and their Applications

CPE and ACR are two essential materials for manufacturing most of rigid PVC (UPVC) products. Their application in the production of PVC products are as below:-

CPE 135A is a kind of low-price impact modifier used in UPVC production, while ACR is used to promote the platicization in UPVC production.

CPE is the abbreviation of chlorinated polyethylene, which is chlorinated from high density polyethylene. The appearance is white powder.

CPE’s Properties
1、Excellent ageing resistance;
2、Excellent flame retardancy;
3、High flexibility under very low temperature;
4、Excellent chemical resistance and ozone resistance;
5、Good processibility;
6、High stability.

Main applications of CPE

CPE has double performance of plastic and rubber. It can be compatible with plastics and rubber well. Except small amount ofCPE used as main material, most of CPE is used as additive in plastic and rubber industry. CPE is mainly used as impact modifier of rigid PVC products and it can improve impact performance under low temperature condition. CPE is used to produce UPVC profile, pipe and injected products. CPE is used to enhance the flame retardancy, insulation and ageing resistance of rubber.

ACR is recognized as an ideal UPVC processing aid agent and it can be added into all rigid PVC products.

4. PVC buckle plate.

Properties:
1. Good dispersibility in PVC resin;
